Here's the revision on the stage we did. He seemed to like it.

It seems that the client didn't like hte snowman background. He mentioned that its too busy and suggested we create a more intricate and classic stage style.

We're rotascoping ballerinas still. Huzzah.
Will update with newer stage.

OK here's a picture of the set

We tried to keep the colours fairly minimalistic to make it easier to read. Also as the main character is composed of outlines, an overly complex background might seem confusing. I might make it even simpler than this.

We've surmised a newer way to do the website introduction.

It's a play set, like a ballet performance would have, and the guy comes down from the roof in the logo, like a set piece. He peels from it and leaps across the stage, and then a set piece of a wall with a door on it springs up and clonks him in the face mid-leap. He falls down, gets up and knocks on the door. It opens and holy light shines on him. THe curtains close with the website logo on them and the website loads.

Done some roughies and stuff. Will post.

Briefalicious

Okay. Here's the run down that David Peirce gave us. We finally had a meeting with him.

He wants a logo to be in the far far distance, as a dot. He wants it to rush towards the screen.

He wants a man to peel from the logo and dance across the screen, performing pirouette, a couple of leaps and then crashing into a board. Injuring his spine.

He said we have creative freedom with it to an extent, as long as we perform the basic of what he briefed us with. Log out.

Yup

We've established contact with the client and done some rough storyboarding and conceptual ideas and it's pretty straightforward.

We've been communicating with the client via email.

The dude will prance like a graceful gazelle across the screen, slam into a wall, and then fall backwards in pain, cracking his spine. He will then kneel and knock on a door, which opens and the site flys out of it towards the screen.

Our WIL project is going to be the one with the Chiropractor Center. Our clients name is david pierce. The project entails us creating an animation of the companies logo 'PEELING' off the wall and dancing across the screen, then leaping into the wall and breaking its back. It will then knock on a door to procure chiropractic services, which is when the site loads. That's the idea i got anyway in regards to the brief.
